2nd Bathroom preview

As we see 'light at the end of the tunnel' on our first bathroom redo, we can start contemplating the 2nd... (though NOT until warmer weather. I'm DONE cutting tile outside in the cold...)

It's actually the same size as the 1st one: 9' x 6' with a window at the end. A couple differences, though:

• The 2nd bath will have... a bath, not a shower stall.
• We're not going for the full-wall tile.
• It also serves as the 'guest bathroom' (we have no "1/2 bath," just the 2 full baths)

It will basically be a carbon-copy of the 'inspiration photo' below: White subway tile half-way up the wall. Charcoal paint above that. Patterned tile on the floor (the tile we picked is slightly different, but much the same look). Freestanding tub at the end by the window.

There are a -couple- differences.

• We'll use a pedestal sink to keep the space as 'open' as possible (less need for storage since it's not our primary bathroom). That also means no wall-mount spigot as shown here.
• We'll use a 'roman' style tub faucet coming up out of the floor next to the tub, not out of the wall. (I prefer the look and I don't like putting plumbing in exterior walls). We'll also get one with a handheld shower.

• We'll probably skip the 'pendant' light in favor of a ceiling fixture.
